Since joining marenas in 2021 as an Associate Consultant, I have gradually progressed to become a Project Lead. I particularly appreciate the collegial corporate culture, in which cohesion, mutual support and shared growth are firmly anchored.
In my first few months, I was influenced by my project manager at the time and my direct colleague, for whom I was able to work. The close collaboration with my colleague led to a valuable friendship that continued beyond her time at marenas, and my project manager at the time, who served as a role model for me, is now the managing director of the company.
With my buddy, I mastered the first steps in project business, then deepened my development with my mentor, and finally planned the next steps for both projects and my personal development with the respective project manager. This allowed me to gradually acquire the skills that were crucial for my career path.
At the same time, I had the freedom to incorporate personal plans – for example, by being allowed to work abroad for a while. I was also given the space to pitch my own ideas and, in some cases, to implement them – always with great confidence in my abilities and vision.
Through internal projects, I was able to gain valuable experience in leadership, motivation and development at an early stage. The strong support network within the marenas team is particularly noteworthy: without exception, all colleagues are helpful and actively contribute their knowledge to overcome challenges together – a culture that has not only been maintained throughout my time at marenas, but has even been strengthened.
My hands-on approach, clear customer focus and the trust of my superiors ultimately enabled me to make independent decisions and manage my own project after only three years. In marenas, I found the perfect company to grow into the role of consultant after my studies – at my own pace and with the freedom to actively shape my next steps.
