From career change to manager

My path to IT management was not a typical career path. However, as a career changer in the industry, I did not let that stop me from realising my dream! Initially, I was able to realise my passion for coordinating and optimising processes in product management and project management as a team leader. However, in everyday work, it was often only human resources that were considered – not the whole package. For me personally, it is extremely important that every employee in a company is not only seen as a resource, but that individual needs and goals are also taken into account. A work-life balance with enjoyment of the work should not be neglected.

This conviction ultimately led me to move to marenas, a company where, as a manager and head of staffing, I ensure that every employee can develop their full potential and that their individual needs are taken into account. I believe that every person can have a positive impact on a company if they are given the opportunity to develop their full potential. This has worked really well for me, so I am happy to lead by example here!
