Our monetary donations are taken from our current operating profit. Thus, the work of each employee contributes actively to the amount donated.
In addition, our employees support our “share” projects on site in various forms. From the integration of refugees with private lessons to renovating orphanages or providing support at inclusion tournaments, we are active contributors within our “share” initiatives.
Schools in Tanzania
We have been promoting sustainable education in Tanzania since 2017. We support schools and kindergartens where children do not only receive basic education but also a warm lunch in a safe environment. In doing so, we fund for example training for nursery teachers, but also sponsorships for children from poor families. When supporting renovation and construction measures with our donations in these educational institutions, we ensure that local workmen are hired
Inclusion in Munich
In 2019 we sponsored the celebration of the first “marenas Cup of Inclusion”, a charity tournament at TSV Hohenbrunn. Sixed mixed soccer teams with healthy as well as physically or mentally impaired children and youthshad fun competing. The entire proceeds of the event were donated to the “Sternstunden” foundation. In addition to the tournament, our donations were used to finance a training camp and part of the team’s equipment.
Youth houses in Munich
The Jugendhaus München e.V. houses teenagers coming from difficult families or who simply go through a difficult life phase. In this special flat-sharing community the teenagers receive pedagogical support. We not only contribute with monetary donations, but we also want to establish a personal relationship with the young residents. That is why we spend time with them by e.g. painting the garden fence of their house or maintaining their garden and enjoy a wonderful barbecue together.
Refugees in Munich
Since 2017, we have been supporting Dr. Beatrix
Jakubicka who provides music lessons to
children and adolescents with a refugee
background. Moreover, she conducts a the
children´s choir “Viel.Harmonie” in a local
refugee house. Additionally, our team gets to
volunteer in form of private lessons or
assistance in administrative formalities.
